First class customer support
Great product, good price, and great customer support!!!Yosuda Rowing Machine is well built, and exactly what I was looking for at a good price.I purchased it April of 2023. In March of 2025 as the seat was moved back and forth a rumbling noise started occurring. I isolated the sound coming from the nylon rollers that support the seat. I contacted customer support to find out cost of a new set of rollers. I was told that they would send a set of rollers free of charge.I was surprised to I receive a complete seat assembly with rollers!

Its ok mid range.
I have been using for a couple of months now. Very smooth operation and has helped me start getting into shape again. Not a regular rower but had liked the rowing machine better that treadmill or stationary bikes when I went to the gym last (embarrassingly long time ago). Me and my wife are both using this and try to get between 15-30 minutes in before some weights ever other day. We had both let ourselves get a little out of shape the last few years and are just starting back so the workout are getting longer as we go and that’s my only concern with the machine.Only 4 stars just because you can tell this machine probably won’t hold up long term. The track for the seat is already starting to show a lot of wear after just a few months. The strap to hold the pull bar is just metal on nylon so it’s constantly under friction and will eventually fail. After a long session I can smell that warm nylon smell which isn’t encouraging. I don’t know what the life of the machine is and I may be wrong but it shows a lot of wear for 2-3 months of 30-60 minutes every other day. If you’re just starting out, like me, it might be fine for awhile but if you’re more fit and expecting to do longer work outs or have multiple people use it you would probably be better off spending a bit more for a better unit. I honestly didn’t want to drop a ton because I have a bad habit of telling myself I’m going to start working out and not following through. I didn’t want to be kicking myself for spending a bunch on another piece of gym equipment I’d end up yard selling after I failed to follow through.Honest opinion is I wish I would have spent a little more for better quality. Since we have managed to stay consistent and it looks like it might actually hold this time, we’ll probably invest in a better machine and end up yard selling this guy anyhow. Again. Machine is operating fine for now and has a smooth consistent pull. Seat is a little cheap feeling in both construction and ride but not a deal breaker. It just shows more wear than I’d hope this early on. I could be wrong.

The Row Heard ’Round the World
I bought the Yosuda Rowing Machine because I wanted a decent home workout. What I got was a full-blown transformation into a vascular Greek god forged in a garage gym.Within three days of use, my arms became so jacked I couldn’t feed myself. My biceps flex themselves now. I sneezed and accidentally did a lat pulldown. I went to scratch my back and punched a hole through my drywall. Twice.Arnold Schwarzenegger saw me in the mirror’s reflection, winced, and whispered, “Too much, bro.”The Rock? He took one look at me, shed a single tear, and ran into the ocean.Mr. Olympia showed up at my door with a gold trophy and said, “Look… we’ve never done this before… but this is yours now.”This machine doesn’t just work muscles. It builds legends. It carves out a torso that could slice deli meat. It gives you the kind of strength that makes squirrels stop and salute you in the park.Smooth glide. Silent motion. Pure power.Just be warned: shirts will stop fitting, mirrors will become scared of you, and you’ll start referring to your living room as “The Temple.”

Or as ordered
No problem with the machine, but if I pay almost $300 for a model that supposed to fold up and it doesn’t that’s a problem. Did not come as the model I ordered. Doesnt even have a way to store it.

Definitely worth the money
This machine works like a champ. Who needs a gym when you have something like this. Save that gym membership money and buy this. You will love it! It works great! It glides easily, has adjustable tension knob to go from beginner to advanced so you can accurately work on any part of the body. I love it, very fun to use.

I did loads of research to find this rower. I looked at quite a few of the super expensive ones, but did not want to pay a monthly fee for the classes those other brands offer. Also, I am new to rowing so I didn’t want to put a lot of money into this in case I didn’t like it. I’m just under 5′ and this is just a tiny bit too big for my legs to get to the completely perpendicular position at the start of the stroke, so I pulled out the pin that stops the seat, added a tiny bit of padding to the joint further up, and it works great now. (I’m making that point specifically for other shorties out there). It’s quiet and easy to move and was very simple to put together. The screen isn’t all that fancy, but it counts time and distance just fine (and some other things like calories, etc.) If you are interested in rowing, especially if you don’t have a lot of space, this is a really good item. I’ve already recommended it, in person, to someone else.

Got this yesterday and tried it today with the following thoughts.Pros:1. great workmanship. the machine is pretty well built. can’t say about the electronic parts as it’s only been two days, but otherwise the machine is very solid.2. very compact and lightweight. I live in apartment. so this is very important.3. quiet. at the normal speed around 22-26 strokes, the foot pedal makes louder noise than the big wheel.4. great app and hardware integration. I downloaded the app and pair it with my iphone and apple watch all together. now I can use watch as real time heartbeat sensor, iphone front camera as optical sensor and display everything on the phone screen. It’s extremely help to see the data to make sure I can maintain target heart rate and good stroke speed during the entire workout. it would be perfect if the app can support watch with ipad, but that’s not machine’s issue.Cons:1. installation. video only is outdated with the first set of screw installation being completely different from what’s in the paper manual. Same goes for the parts and part numbers as they changed. In the manual, some minor mistakes on how the flat washer and spring washer should be stacked. one place said it correctly, then the others said it differently which was wrong.2. not enough resistance. I am not a big strong guy(5’9″, 158lbs), but I am starting all the way with 16 the max. It’s good enough for cardio fat lost and endurance I believe, but not good enough for strength.3. I bought the more expensive 02-magnetic pro version, but at the front of the wheel, it’s missing a pad at the front which gives it two options to store the machine. With the pad, I can store the machine upright without having to folder it which actually uses less space than folding it. The cheaper 01-magnetic rower does have that.
