I am a current WHOOP member, does my historical data transfer to my new WHOOP device?

Yes! After you purchase your device, you'll just need to complete a pairing process to activate. All of your historical data will be transferred to your new device!

Can I use a 4.0 band on my new device?

No, WHOOP 5.0 and MG aren’t compatible with 4.0 bands. They're designed with a new size and upgraded hardware, so you’ll need bands made specifically for these devices for proper functionality.

I am a current WHOOP Member purchasing WHOOP Life, what happens to my features that I have on 4.0?

When you purchase WHOOP LIFE, all of your features from WHOOP 4.0 will remain the same, plus you will receive access to additional new features!

How can I charge my WHOOP Life device?

You can use both the Basic Charger and the new Wireless PowerPack to charge your device. Please note that the 4.0 Battery Pack will not work on your new device.

How do I pair my WHOOP Life device?

Unpair your 4.0 in Device Settings. Wake your WHOOP by sliding on a charger. Open the app, go to Device Settings>Advanced>Pair a Device, & follow the in-app steps. Blue LED on your device means it's ready to pair.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED IS INCLUDED: Your WHOOP purchase includes a 12-month WHOOP Life membership, a WHOOP MG device, a SuperKnit Luxe band, and a waterproof* Wireless PowerPack.
CONTINUOUS MONITORING: WHOOP continuously monitors your physiological data, including sleep, stress, VO2 max, blood pressure*, and heart health metrics—providing 24/7 insights to optimize fitness, recovery, and overall health.

Disappointing Customer Service and Unethical Practices
The product itself is decent, but it’s overshadowed by terrible customer service and questionable business practices.Support is nearly impossible to reach, and when you do get a response, it’s often canned and unhelpful. Billing issues are common, and canceling a subscription is a convoluted process. Worst of all, Whoop’s so-called “upgrades” often come with hidden costs or extended commitments, which they don’t make clear up front. It feels like they’re more focused on trapping customers in contracts than actually improving the experience.Overall, I can’t recommend Whoop to anyone who values transparency, ethical business practices, or reliable customer support.

Great device with incredible battery life
I’m new to Whoop, and this is an awesome product. The 14 day battery life means that I barely have to think about charging. The heart health and longevity capabilities are super cool. I’m really looking forward to using this more over the coming weeks. And the product looks great.

Not what it’s made out to be.
I finally bought one of these things because of all the hype and fell for it. I’ve used an apple watch for years and wanted to try something new but everything this offers is probably just going to be applied as an update on current apple watch models. I do high intensity workouts and run a few miles daily and this thing is counting calories as if I were working out for 3 hours. These products aren’t meant to be precise but it’s telling me I’m burning almost 600 calories more than what I did with my apple watch and even that device isn’t accurate. Anyways I’m sure Whoop 6.0 will have a screen on the thing, and they’ll slowly implement small features with every version in order to keep selling these devices. Great marketing but lackluster product.

    Software is broken
I bought this device today after reading some promising articles about it. Delivery was fast, and the hardware seemed solid. But once I installed the app, the problems started. I purchased the most expensive version (MG), which was supposed to include their premium membership, but the app didn’t recognize it. It left me with the basic plan, and now it’s asking me to pay another $200 to unlock the features I already paid for.

    Good upgrade
The battery life so far has been way better compared to the Whoop 5.0, and the ECG feature works well.

    NO upgrade to whoop life
I received the whoop mg quickly, but there was no renewal code for whoop life. When switching from my 4.0 to life. It updated to the new mg device and kept the app at whoop peak access.

    First Impressions
Just got it today, so this is a review of just initial impressions and will be updated over time. What I love:-The Healthspan feature is awesome. I’ve been a Whoop customer for about a year, so this is an upgrade for me, and the whole reason I became a customer was to improve my longevity/lifespan. So this feature is a great start because it breaks down logically how you would age based on metrics such as sleep, heart rate, strain, etc. It uses an algorithm to determine your age and speed of aging. How accurate is it? I am skeptical it is accurate because you can’t really prove it, but hey, at least it does give something to track against, which to my knowledge, hasn’t been invented yet.-The battery life supposedly lasts 14 days. Now I got it this afternoon and 8 hours later of wearing it, the battery health is at the same percentage. So I believe it so far. This is a huge upgrade. What I dislike:-So apparently you need a cuff to measure your baseline blood pressure. I had no idea about this. Once you get into the blood pressure feature, it tells you to put a cuff on. What cuff? Was it supposed to come with this? Am I supposed to just have one handy? Where’s the directions for this?-So as a previous customer, I already bought a water resistant band that fits the 4.0. Now that band does not fit the newer versions. And what is hilarious, is that the old band is about 1mm too thick for the new whoop, so it won’t fit. No design change, exact same style, just 1mm thicker. Why do they do this? It’s obviously so that you’ll have to buy a new band and they can make more money. They could have made it 1mm thinner to help their already loyal paying customers. Not even Apple, the king of ecosystem trapping, does this. Their Apple Watch bands fit all generations.-On top of this, Whoop once promised a free upgrade to their loyal customers (check out online articles), then decided to charge an upgrade fee or yearly membership instead of the free upgrade. Now I know they don’t stick to their word, which is making me skeptical whoop will change their plans down the road, whether that be pricing, features, etc. So, I’ll definitely think twice before renewing my membership.I want whoop to make more money and I want them to succeed. I like what they are doing and I like their app and hardware. My advice to whoop is to sacrifice short term costs for long term subscriptions. You should stick to the original free upgrade plan (and just make the hardware in general be very low cost) because then it would force users to gift their old whoop to someone, which a percentage will then subscribe. Now, users will think twice to upgrade. Your app is the reason your customers love your product and the bulk of margin is probably in the subscription. So maximize lifetime subscriptions. Doing moves that infuriate your customers, such as incompatible previous bands and misleading free upgrades will cause loyalty drop off.

    ISSUE WITH LIFE MEMBERSHIP
Note when you buy the life whoop 5.0 there is an issue where you won’t get the life membership plan, you get the peak plan which is meant to be for the peak watch. Don’t recommend buying until it’s fixed, spoke to support and there’s no timeline on fixing and why pay for a watch you don’t get access to what you paid and the year membership dwindles away.
