High quality product
I was very impressed by the packaging of this elliptical. I could tell that great thought was put into keeping the product safe during shipping. Additionally the instructions for assembly were the most concise and easy to follow that you’ll ever find. They even packaged and labeled the nuts and bolts in separate packets that matched each step of the way. absolutely no frustration in assembly. And no Chinese text anywhere.

WOW! Great Customer Service.
WOW! Kimmy provided great customer service. Just one call and Kimmy resolved the issue. I was missing a part from another company and it took three phone calls and almost a dozen emails to get resolved. This machine is awesome. Thank You, Roger.

Good machine!
I love this product. It’s a bit bigger than I would like, but it is very sturdy, well-built, and I like how smooth it is. It is easy to use and has multiple strength settings. It is easy on the knees and legs, but works them well. Teeter is a good, reliable brand. I also have the Teeter inversion and like it too.

FreeStep LT3 Recumbent Cross Trainer Stepper
I wanted a recumbent eliptical after using one at the gym. Gym quality recumbents run a few thousand dollars. That seemed like overkill. I found this one on Amazon along with another to compare to. This one had the best reviews and I thought it would fit in the space I had allotted for it. The dimensions indicated it would also fit assembled through a standard bedroom door of 30″. It arrived in front of my garage and was tough to slide into the house. But is wasn’t too far and the unopened box fit through each door with a little to spare. Before opening the box I watched a youtube video which relieved some of my concerns. One suggestion was very helpful “don’t take it out of the box, take the box away from it.” That made good sense and after taking all the loose parts out and separating them. It left cutting the box away and sliding the base out of the box. Assembly by myself, took about two hours. Written instructions were good. Parts marked easily. Teeter also has more video’s though I finished not needing them. A few bolts were a little hard to get started. But eventual successs. Attaching the seat to the seat back had an issue because there are two choice based on one’s comfort. I guessed wrong (it is better for with more space between the seat and back) so after it was all together and I sat on it, I had to undo the seat & back from the frame and redo the seat). The only other glitch on assembly was in seating the bar with electronics into the frame. Here there was nearly a half inch of space with the bar being wider than the frame receivers. It took some straining and manipulating but I succeeded in putting them together. It works fine.Once assembled it wasn’t too hard using the wheels to get it into the room where it was to go. It is not that easy to pick up (110 lbs) and raise high enough for the wheels to work and then it also tends to roll faster. But success. After spending some time trying it out I was pretty satisfied. When using the pedals only without arms one can see it has smooth operation, WIth arms one needs to get a smooth cadence so it doesn’t feel a little too jerky. I was glad I bought the gel seat pad with it since it is more comfortable. The seat adjustments are fair. Sometimes it seems too far away and at other too close. Placing your feet higher or lower on the pedals also makes a difference. I find tt works better if one is leaning back into the seatback when riding, sitting up only increases loss of smoothness. The tension adjustment knob takes some getting used to since it is not easily seen while seated. You end up using it by feel. It works alright. The handles have a couple of positions, these are not my favorite but again work adequately and I expect to get more used to these. The electronics are basic (time, distance and rpm) it reminded me of an eliptical I had in 2002. So actually it is enough for me. Ultimately, I am satisfied with the qualtity and value for this one at around $900. There is a cheaper one by Teeter I never tried. You can’t compare this one to those at the gym that are $2500 to over $4000. Also they weigh over twice as much as this one. Try moving that. I think it will get good use.

Love how quiet it is! Perfect for this 5′ person!
I don’t write reviews very often, but the existing reviews on the LT3 were very important to me in making my purchase decision. I couldn’t find any Teeter Cross Trainers locally to try before purchasing. All that I had were the manufacturer’s info and the reviews, some of which concerned me.I purchased the LT3 for our daughter who is 5 feet tall, overweight, and has Down Syndrome. She is recovering from open heart surgery and has been working out on very expensive equipment at a cardiac rehab facility. She’s nearing the end of her rehab sessions and the weather is getting colder, so it’s harder to go for walks or bike rides. I wanted to find something affordable, and easy to use at home, that would keep her moving. After reading everything I could find (and worrying for a few days 😊) I decided to purchase the LT3, and it arrived yesterday. It took between 1 to 2 hours to put it together, but it was not difficult. The instructions were clear, and the parts were well labeled. We put the seat and handles at the shortest settings and our daughter hopped on without any issues. The LT3 is very quiet, almost silent. We put it in front of a TV and started a movie for her to watch while she exercised. She has been doing 20 minutes on each of two different machines at cardiac rehab, so I suggested that she do 40 minutes. I set it at the easiest resistance level and she pedaled while watching her movie! She kept going for 40 minutes – no complaints! Some of the reviews said that the LT3 would not work for short people but out daughter’s short stature was not an issue. Some said that it was hard to get on/off, but she did not have any difficulty with that either. I love the fact that it is so quiet and she can watch movies without turning up the sound. We haven’t tried the Teeter app, but I’m guessing she will enjoy her movies more than watching the app. We also have not tried the higher resistance levels, but we’ll give them a try. For now, I am primarily concerned about just keeping her moving.I tried it briefly and also found it very easy to use (I’m 5’6”). I may get more use out of the Teeter app and the higher resistance levels than our daughter, but I might enjoy it more with a movie too!In summary, I am VERY pleased with our purchase of the LT3! The mat and the gel seat cover have not arrived yet, so I can’t comment on them.

Well designed… with one flaw
This exercise machine is a very well designed and effective. The one flaw is that occasionally the step counter miscounts the number of steps by missing a step.

The instructions on assembly are easy to follow -the bags of screws are labeled for each step. It will take about 2 hours to put together

I got my machine and my husband and a friend put it together in 2 hours. So I started using it 3 days ago.It is a very well made machine and strong. Right now my right foot is not up to par yet as at the end of April /24 I broke 3 major bones in my right foot, so in May/24 I had 2 foot surgeries to repair the broken bones. I still have pain with that foot. So I ordered foot extenders to stabilize my feet on the elliptical, which I think it should be provided with the elliptical machine. But over all the elliptical is smooth and very quiet. So far I am doing quite well with it.

We debated in the FreeStep for months and finally decided to buy it. We couldn’t be happier! It’s a great all over body workout and we feel so good after we’ve worked out. We’ve had other cardio machines and weren’t happy with them, but we couldn’t be happier with our FreeStep. We want to workout and we enjoy our workouts which is half the battle! Highly recommended!
