So far, I’ve had no issues at all. It was very easy to set up, and I really appreciate that it required no tools. My aunt was amazed at how simple it was she even called it a marvel because she thought I’d need to screw it into place. I’ve been using it in my 33-inch door frame for over four weeks now, and it hasn’t shifted or moved at all. The bar is solid and secure. I usually walk by and do a few push-ups. I currently weigh 246 pounds, and based on my experience, the install and measurement guide is accurate. No complaints!

Good but can damage Doors
My house is old construction, so it only messed up some damaged paint. Wouldn’t recommend if renting could damage stuff. However it can hold my 6,2 280 pound dad so.

Sturdy and easy to set up
This pull-up bar is awesome for home workouts. It was really easy to install and feels super solid when I’m using it. Great for building upper body strength — definitely a must-have if you’re serious about training!

Good bar tricky installation
Basically a good sturdy bar but there’s one strong advantage to its design and a couple of shortcomings. First, the big advantage — you can install it in a doorway and still close the door when desired. 1) You may have to duck a little when entering the room, but you’ll figure that out after a few tries. 2) The directional labels on the bar on which way to turn it to tighten it in the doorway are backwards to how it works; that’s pretty obvious when you install it. The friction between the bar pads and the doorway requires excessive pressure on the door frame to prevent slipping. Making it tight enough to be safe may crack the door frame especially for adult users. It really needs shims installed between the frame and the doorway’s rough opening or small blocks firmly attached to the frame below the pads on the bar. Net: Good bar once you get past the installation hassles.

Great option for me
This works great at home, easy to use, sturdy. Just a head’s up, you are not going to be able to do an extra wide grip pull up, because the surface area won’t allow for it. This accommodates shoulder width grip just fine, however I am an average sized female, so not sure if it may limit grip a lot for a big guy.

Works on my Metal door frame
Strong townhouse door frame. Could hear tension in walls when tightening.. took a chance with a mat on the floor so I wouldnt crush my knees if I fell… Each inch downwards was stable. At the top, sturdy, no wiggle, no sliding.. the rubber ends enhance the grip while the twisting bars press the grips extremely hard i to the metal frame.. i only review items that are a waste or a value. This is in my toolkit for homegyms. Im not allowed to pass this without doing a workout. The grip padding make this enjoyable to hold.

Easy to install and very solid – wish foam went wider.
I wish the foam came out a little wider. Otherwise it’s easy to install, adjust, and seems very sturdy. You have to be careful in old houses, I had several door jambs where installation moved wooden trim beyond my comfort level. You really have to find a stable platform, which is obvious. I did find one, but it’s the only one in the house. You do need fairly tall ceilings for this to work. I tried a cheaper simpler one first but the ends would slip under load. It’s all about solid contact and this one does provide that. Just wish the foam went wider…. Hence 4 stars.

Edit: Passou um mês desde que a barra chegou e ela começou a perder a força. Aguentou por um mês, porém agora está começando a cair. Talvez ainda seja boa para quem não é tão pesado assim, mas se pesar 120+ kgs, não é ideal.Sou bem pesado, estou obeso, e queria uma barra para começar a me exercitar. Pesquisei bastante, procurando uma que aguentasse meu peso, e quando vi essa, fiquei em dúvida se aguentaria.Testei e posso dizer que aguentou sem problemas. É feita de um material que parece bom, e aguenta bem o peso.Recomendo.

Got this to add to my pull up bar as I was scared to use it without any reinforcements. This was very easy to install and so far it’s working very well holding up everything in place!
