Solid, all-round satisfactory performance. Here is my review of each feature of the ring -Battery life – 5/5. It easily lasts 5 days or more, and the case quickly charges it up in under an hour.Step Counter – 5/5. It is basically spot on.Sleep Tracking – 4/5. It reliably detects when I fall asleep, but often misses if I wake up in the middle of the night.Heart rate – 4/5. It’s accurate most of the time, but sometimes measures at half the actual value during intense exercise. This is relatively common among smart watches and rings today, unfortunately.Blood Oxygen – ?/5. It measures around 95-99%, which is about what is expected. I have no means to test if it is accurate for low SPO2 levels.Blood pressure – 0/5. The numbers are made up. There are no consumer wearables that can measure blood pressure reliably in the market as of now.App – 3/5. The ring uses the SmartHealth App. The app prompts you to create an account and requests a slew of highly invasive permissions (e.g., Call Log, SMS, etc.) but fortunately, you can use the app without creating an account or granting most permissions. The ring is not compatible with the GagdetBridge App.

I am really impressed with this ring. It has better and more functions than the Samsung Galaxy ring at less than half the price. The health tracking app is easy to read and use. And the readings are accurate as compared with other monitoring devices. I have worn this ring for a couple weeks and am extremely happy with it.

No instructions, data security concerns, no customer support
There were no included instructions. A QR code supposed to provide instructions just led to a tutorial on sizing the ring, which had already been done before ordering the ring. After loading the app, it required permissions to connect, including my contact list. There was no reason for this, and I had definite security concerns (especially as it came from China, where data collection issues are well known). The Amazon page for the ring says to contact customer support with any questions. It took much digging to even find a customer support contact. When I did and reached out, I never received a reply. I returned the ring.

Good info!
I like everything that this can track. I am weirdly obsessed with how much I sleep each night and this tracks it well. I can basically tell how well my workouts are going by tracking my HR both during the workout, as well as my resting heartrate. I also like that I can monitor my breathing issues with SpO2. The charge holds well and the option to charge by case or the cord is great!

Better off spending the extra money
So far the accuracy has been horrendous. My BP taken with a normal cuff was 113/68 but the ring said it was 136/84. Big difference. It has missed over 60% of my steps, my oxygen was 95% and the ring said 99%, so I’m guessing that the heart rate of 88 is wrong as it usually registers in the high 60s to low 70s. It doesn’t come with a manuel and directs you to a video that is either in Chinese or the guy has the thickest accent I have ever heard and I can’t understand a word he says. All in all, I would say to go get a more expensive one that works, because I’m guessing that this one isn’t getting any better. I will say that they fit was excellent.

Records sleep w/ stages, and steps very accurately. Heartrate, O2, and blood pressure are not even close to accurate. However. I expected they wouldn’t be. Most smart ring companies let you know that in advance. Overall, happy with the product.
