Nice device! Slightly buggy app
The device is great by its simplicity— perfect for our freedom-loving Alzheimers mom. The app is a little weird, telling you sometimes that the service failed (but still tracking regards) and overall a bit crooked coming from a company selling electronics :). But I’m thankful regardless; the one-button is the best possible design for a moderately demented person.

Just be aware of plan cancellation fees
Just one thing to add to what others have said: Be aware that these come with a plan cancellation fee. We bought two devices, and when we decided our kids didn’t need them anymore, we were charged a $99 cancellation fee per device. For us that comes to $200. There can also be additional $125/per device fees for failing to return the equipment and accessories, at your own shipping expense, to the manufacturer.

Super easy to setup
I purchased the SecuLife GPS Tracker for an elderly relative. It was super easy to setup. 5 minutes after opening the box we were up and going. I tested it 3 times and it immediately called my phone. Thankfully we’ve not had to use it in an emergency situation yet, but I’m confident it will work when the need arises. The $19 per month fee is cheaper than anything else available in my area. I’m very happy with the purchase.

We really like it
We give it to the kids when they go out and we can keep an eye on them. If they get an invite to go over to a friends house, they don’t always run back home to tell us, but as long as they are in the “zone” so to speak, then we’re good. If they go out of the zone, then we get a notice. And we call if we need to. But as long as we know where they are, that helps a lot.

I bought this for my mom. I can rest easy when she is out and about. I can communicate and know exactly where she is. Would recommend for anyone who worries about their loved one being out and about by themselves.

Not able to keep device without subscription
My mother will not wear this device so I didn’t change my methodof payment when my card was stolen. I have now received calls asking me to return the device with no money returned to me for the device that I was under the impression that I PURCHASED from Amazon in May. There is no warning that you will have to return the device at YOUR OWN EXPENSE or be charged MORE for keeping it. So unless you are sure you are going to use it forever don’t buy this device since evidently for $50 you are just borrowing it.
