For the price, I believe this yoga mat is amazing. I love this color and it feels comfy. It’s a nice long length and I’m almost 5’8. (171 cm) Although I appreciate the strap holder because it’s convenient, be careful when taking the strap holder off the mat. The foldability of the mat is great but I would not say it is 100% slip resistant. I recommend this mat but more specifically to anyone who doesn’t get easily sweaty hands. I like the thickness of the mat. The variety of color options are pretty as well -Update: Keep away from cats. Lol.

I’m absolutely in love with anything made by Retrospec. I have two long boards and a skateboard and I’m delighted to now own this yoga mat. This product is not only gorgeous and soft, but it is durable and of course, easy to use. It does roll up to be quite small and the strap that it comes with is stretchy instead of hardy Velcro. I can see this last thing a long time, but I just got it so I will update if I need to if it doesn’t last as long as I think it could.The strap is packaged separately from the mat itself, and I actually reached out to customer support because I thought it was missing. It is much smaller than I was thinking, and it was tossed into the trashcan because it was in a plastic baggie and I did not even see it at first. I triple checked everywhere before emailing, but, regardless, even the team was super generous and understanding, and they were quick to answer my questions and follow up with the email… could be uncommon, but I waited near moments before I got a response! Fantastic company and I love them and anytime I need to move my body and I need a tool to help with that. I will absolutely be looking at retrospec’s products!! 🧡

High-Quality Mat That Holds Up to Real Life
Sure, it’s technically a yoga mat—but we’re not using it for downward dog. My son, for reasons only he understands, has decided that hardwood floors are more appealing than his actual bed. So, we rolled this mat out beside the bed as a compromise. It gives him a soft place to crash without a full-on mattress situation. The extra thickness makes a big difference, and the quality really surprised me—it’s held up beautifully, even with two dogs constantly trotting across it like it’s a runway. All in all, it’s become an unexpected household hero.

It’s a lovely color and the length is great! A little disappointed with the width, seems to skinny when doing particular pilates/yoga poses.Also, don’t let your pet near this!! My cat *stretched* while standing on it and accidentally sank her claws into the mar, gouging a good-size hole with her claw. The material is soft but apparently really delicate, as it was easily ripped out by kitty claws.

Great quality yoga mat! Very comfortable and cushioned on my hard wood floor. I love that it comes with a carry strap. It does take a minute to roll out completely but after some use it is broken in. It does have a little plastic/rubber smell but goes away when aired out and wiped down. Love the design as well!

However, I found that it doesn’t stay in one place during workouts — it tends to slide on the floor, which can be distracting and a bit unsafe. Also, the cushioning is quite light and not padded enough, especially for floor exercises or stretches. I experienced some back strain during longer sessions. It’s okay for basic stretches, but not ideal for more intense or longer practices.

I saw some mixed reviews about this product saying when indented it would never go back to normal as well as comments about the smell of the product.I only received this product t yesterday afternoon and used for the first time this morning for my floor work out. My main purpose of this Mat was because my spine and tail bone hurt so badly with a thin mat after floor workout.This mat has no smell at all, it’s an extremely great quality material, the carrying strap is a good added touch and can be used two different ways. 1 being you put the elastic straps closer to the middle of the mat when rolled up for a longer strap you can throw over your shoulder or leave the elastic straps closer to each end of the mat for a shorter, tighter strap for basic hand carrying.Some thicker mats I’ve tried make me feel kind of off balance and not very steady on my feet, I did not have that issue with this product. It is very cushioned but not to the point you feel you’ll fall over or lose balance.110% would recommend and would absolutely buy this product again in the future.*HAS NO BAD SMELL* GOOD QUALITY MAT* COLOUR IS EXACTLY AS SHOWN*
