Comfortable and great price
Bought this massage chair for my daughter who is a massage therapist, home run!!! Great product for the price, simple and easy to assemble, light weight folds nicely and stores great in the carrying tote that comes with it. It’s perfect size, very stable as she was able to use with different clients

Sturdy, great quality, needs better assembly instructions (or any at all..)
The one-sided paper instructions (not really instructions, more like inventory list) were lacking, but I figured it out and had it set up in under 15 minutes out of the box. The arm rest on the back was placed between the other 2 cushions and looked like it was intended to remain there, but it isn’t attached. The Velcro on the headrest bar also threw me off at first, since Velcro generally has another Velcro piece to attach to and all.. I don’t like that the face cushion is only attached to the chair by Velcro as it feels unsecured at first, but once you sit on it, you know it isn’t going anywhere. It seems very sturdy and is of nice quality. I will posit that my husband and I are on the smaller side, neither of us individually reach 130 lbs, so it isn’t exactly like we stress tested it. I would recommend it personally. I’m not sure if it’s up to professional quality, but it is great for casual use.

Repurposed as a kneeling desk
I make a product for my business which requires me to sit hunched over for long periods.Plus, I often take my work with me to friend’s houses etc. This “chair” looked like it would make the perfect kneeling desk/work surface. And it did! I can sit/kneel for long periods with excellent posture and little fatigue. The arm rest AND face cradle both make excellent work services for my needs. They are very sturdy and adjustable.I took the screws out of the holder on the chest pad and turned it 180 degrees so it would not be in the way as much but still provide padded support when leaning forward.I knocked off one star because the seat is a little flimsy feeling AND the seat is very very close to the center bar as others have pointed out. If I had a schmeckie I don’t think I could use it…. (the chair – not the schmeckie)I intend to beef up the seat and might try to have it sit a smidge farther back.Whatever you intend to do with this chair – it is super sturdy, lightweight and easy to set up.

Best chair fur RD recovery after surgery
I’ve had retinal detach surgery and this chair is a godsend. It is comfortable, lightweight, and sturdy for my 6’3 and 225 pound frame. It provides support and comfort for my shoulders and back when I have to stay in the facedown position per doctors orders.

Very nice for the price
I honestly have no complaints. I was a bit skeptical at first. It was one of the only options I could find on Amazon even close to this price range. I was expecting it to be cheaply made, which isn’t the case. It’s relatively heavy duty for a consumer product. It probably is as robust as you might want if you are looking for something to use in a business with customers every single day, but it definitely could work for that. For a home product that you occasionally use, it is way better than you need.

Think of the ergonomics of your bench and what it can and does do.
I could not use this product the way it was intended to be used. If your short(5’3″) your head can not reach the headrest. The pad meant to lean on does nothing but push you further away. The bar hurts to lean into. The seat adjust , but not in away to raise you and it still it doesn’t help your head reach the headrest. I ended up reversing the headrest and sitting in front of the bench. I needed the headrest to lean my head on to keep my face(eyes) downward after eye surgery. The screws used to tighten the face rest keep coming loose and dropping the face lift downward. The cushions are nice. That’s all I can say nice about being able to use it. I still kept it to use for my face to rest on.Even if the headrest is reversed it’s something for it to rest on.The picture shows that I’m using the headrest reversed.

It’s not the best chair but it works on a budget.
I do a lot of chair massage these days. I started out borrowing my sister’s earthlite chair which is very adjustable and comfortable. This chair isn’t as adjustable and not nearly as comfortable. The cons: The seat doesn’t have any tilt to it so feels uncomfortable when leaning forward on the chest pad, the face cradle always gives on one side making it uneven no matter how much I tighten it. The seat is kinda wobbly, I’m always tightening that too. The chest pad only adjusts up and down but only with the face cradle in position which is hard with certain clients. The carry bag can be kinda difficult if you don’t have the chair in there just right and I’ve got a hole in it from trying to wrestle with it. Again other chairs I’ve worked with have bags that are super easy and sturdy. The pros: it’s light, easy to set up and break down, it’s affordable, and does the job.Overall this chair works if you’re in a pinch, on a budget, or you don’t do that much chair massage. I’m glad I purchased it but will be looking to upgrade in the near future.
