Our Recommendations
We recommend the Peloton Bike+ for individuals seeking a premium, motivating, and fully integrated home gym experience. It is ideal for users who enjoy both high-energy cycling and a variety of floor-based classes. Before purchasing, ensure you have adequate space, including an 8-foot ceiling height. Be prepared for the ongoing cost of the All-Access Membership, which is essential to the experience. Due to its significant weight, we advise having a second person available for the self-assembly process.
Conclusion
The Peloton Bike+ is a top-tier home fitness machine that justifies its premium status with innovative features like a rotating screen and auto-resistance. It offers an unparalleled library of high-quality, motivating content that makes working out enjoyable and consistent. While the investment is significant—factoring in both the initial price and the mandatory monthly subscription—it provides immense value for those committed to creating a comprehensive fitness routine at home. However, buyers should be mindful of the challenging self-assembly and mixed customer reports on reliability.

Beautiful BIke, Professional Delivery & Assembly
My wife and I are both retirees but we have done Spin for years. We decided to purchase a Peloton partly because it is sometimes just not as easy or convenient for us to get to the gym for classes as it was when we were younger. This is a beautiful bike and we anticipate enjoying it for many years to come. As stellar as this bike is, however, we must offer even higher accolades to the delivery techs who brought the bike to our home, assembled and made sure that it was performing to our satisfaction. If the bike itself only turns out to be only half as awesome as these two techs, then my wife and I will be very pleased. OH, they also removed the packaging and heavy box in which Pelaton ships their bikes. That was a big help, too. Kudos to Amazon for making these beautiful bikes available at a very reasonable price point. Even more so given its seamless delivery and assembly by two highly professional yet very down to earth technicians. Thank you!

Don’t let the assembly scare you!
Ok, so I have owned a regular Peleton bike before – this one was $300 off. Only took a couple of hours to assemble, as I was methodical about it. Open the box, lay out everything in a logical order (based on when parts are needed in the directions) and you will have no issues. I had no problem laying the bike on the side, and raising it back up. I’m a 66 yr old male just 6 weeks out from hernia surgery. The bike is shipped incredibly well packed, believe me. A couple of bonuses – you get all the necessary tools, including a great pedal wrench they do not give you on a fully assembled bike you purchase from Peleton. A full bag of spare bolts, screws etc is included also. No scratches etc if you are careful with it. I would do this again in an instant!

Monitor stuck on the black screen with only the P
My monitor stopped working after five months. Looks like this happens a lot after reading many reviews. I’m in the process of trying to reboot and refresh the system, but nothing seems to work. I’m stuck on a black screen with only the P showing. Discontinuous loop seems to be an ongoing problem with many.Looks like a new one’s going to cost $450 but I can’t seem to find one.I’m in the process of using the app on my TV because I really love the bike.Updating my review, I was able to get a hold of a great peloton service representative. We went through the verification of my monitor to find out that it had a bad ship and a new one is on the way. Thanks, peloton!

Sad Decline in Quality
Three faulty bikes is too many. The first bike had a bent seat and potentially a bent seat post. The second bike had a faulty pedal that wouldn’t screw in. The third had a bent frame making it impossible to balance and pedal consistently. I’m not sure if this is a batch issue or the new normal for Peloton. Nonetheless it seems there has definitely been a decline in product quality.I regularly rode a peloton bike that was purchased before 2019. It was an amazing bike. The quality and smoothness of the ride I felt was unbeatable. Unfortunately the bike was not mine. I took a few years off from peloton and focused on outdoor cycling. Eventually I bought a Concept2 BikeErg to avoid Peloton’s $44/month membership fee. While the air resistance on the Concept2 is definitely different than Peloton’s magnetic resistance I was relatively satisfied with my purchase. It wasn’t until recently that I wanted something better suited for interval training. I had finally invested in my own Peloton bike. After receiving three faulty Peloton bikes I was unforgettably disappointed with my purchase and will never purchase another Peloton.I contacted Peloton about my experience with little to no resolution of the issue. They just didn’t seem to care about my primary complaint. Even after I expressed this situation would inevitable result in me never buying another Peloton, I received no response. Thankfully Amazon’s return policy is relatively hassle free otherwise this whole ordeal would have been a nightmare. Amazon’s free assembly is also a great perk but it’s important to note they are not product experts. Biking can take some getting used to but if your bike doesn’t feel right after set up it could be a faulty product. If you decide to purchase a Peloton I truly hope this isn’t your experience.

Great workout – even for a senior citizen!!
You will see results. Try not to use regular sneakers if your workout calls for you to peddle off the seat and you have weak ankles. At my age (67) I opted for shoe cages instead of the click in shoes. Loving the 20 minute classic rock sessions!!!

Doesn’t pair with Garmin 🙁
Love the bike. Wasn’t the easiest to assemble but the instructions and tooling was super helpful easier than IKEA furniture just heavier. My only complaint thus far is it doesn’t sync my workouts with my Garmin watch which is a big deal for me I thought I read somewhere that they sync but it seems biased towards Apple Watch. Also it really needs fans I bought some afterMarket ones but Peloton should consider that for future models. The auto adjustment is awesome I would not enjoy changing the resistance every minute manually. The software is very user friendly and very easy to navigate. Again only complaint so far is no Garmin connection.

Great Product
After much pondering…decided to purchase this Peloton bike. Well packaged and great care made to ensure no damage in-transit. Instructions were a bit lacking, but I was able to find several videos online that gave step-by-step assembly instructions. Very happy with my purchase. Now if I would just use it more often… 🙂

Came in perfect condition and easy assembly. This bike and the packaging is HEAVY. You will need 2 able bodied people to move and assemble it. No problem getting it shipped to rural Nova Scotia, Canada but it did take longer than normal amazon packages.

I was debating buying a Peleton for a while, the cost was really holding me back. But, prime day come along and I got a $500 discount on this bike, so I snatched it up immediately. Refurbished bikes on their website are more expensive than what I paid.I’ll be honest, I was concerned that it wasn’t Peleton delivering it, as they also do the whole set up.. but amazon delivered it on time, the box wasn’t damaged at all which was a relief. All the parts were inside the box neatly. Nothing was broken, everything was there. It took me around 2 hours or so to set up. The box has a home assembly kit with tools and all the screws you need (with a baggie of extras!)The setup was not hard at all, just time consuming. The build quality of the bike seems VERY solid also.It is quite a compact bike, I don’t have a large amount of room in my apartment but the peleton fits very well.Overall, I’d say it was a great purchase! Although I’m not sure I’d spend the original price for it of $1845 CAD.If you’re not in a rush but you want the Peleton, I’d definitely recommend waiting for another amazon prime day as the sale is just too good to pass up!

I downloaded the peloton app to further my at home fitness journey with a goal of building muscle after significant weight loss. I told myself if I stayed consistent for a year I would treat myself to a peloton bike, which led me to this purchase. I’ve had the bike for almost 4 months and have used it faithfully 4-5 times a week for cycling, strength, pilates, yoga and stretching as the screen can be used for them all. I have been doing the recommended tune ups but don’t find the pieces loosen much. I have my bike set up on a medium pile carpeted floor and don’t have any issues. I love all the features of the peloton and how it integrates with my smart watch. Overall would highly recommend this bike to anybody wanting an at home piece of cardio equipment with an amazing platform for workouts. I love peloton, it changed the game for me and my health!

Easy to assemble but very heavy, would recommend 2 people to assemble. If you love to spin it will fit in any room and have a comfortable work out, sleek design

A cautionary tale for Canadian buyers and buyers in general: I purchased the Bike Plus in February 2025 and the bottom bracket failed after only a handful of rides (5 hours of total use time on the bike). After doing some research this appears to be a frequently reported issue. I am outside the Peloton Service area and will need to repair this thing myself.. do some research about bottom bracket failures on these things.. it happens more frequently than it ought for a bike of such value. I expected higher quality components. Also note that Peloton only covers you for 12 months warranty and you must provide proof of purchase through Amazon to be eligible for coverage during that time. They also have VERY limited shipping, and couldn’t even ship the replacement Bottom bracket to my home address!?!?! I had to get it shipped to a family member who lives near a bigger city in Southern BC. Peloton doesn’t provide tools for BB replacement, so I had to buy a crank puller, bottom bracket wrench, etc, etc.. brutal. Amazon’s customer service on this was TERRIBLE as was Peloton’s. Other replacement parts for wearable components are not available on Amazon with very limited other suppliers. My recommendation is to just go to your local rec center, take a spin class, or hit the gym if you want to ride a spin bike socially. The Peloton solution is just a money pit with what appears to be planned obsolesce a significant part of their business model. The bike is NOT built to last. I don’t have many regrets in life…
