For swimmers, this is a sleeper vs. Apple & Garmin
Upgraded from an earlier Parsonver version without GPS. Used that for swimming and it managed just ok. Didn’t track perfectly down to the last lap but hey, it didn’t have GPS. This however is in an altogether better league using a different (Fitbeing) software. Experienced the black screen issue less than a week in and a couple of good mile swims. I experienced it at night. Screen was totally black but the green sensor under the watch indicated active.Pushed the crown button and kept holding it. That forced a restart and then saw the boot up logo screen. Now everything is back working. That may be a software glitch where during “sleep” it triggers the black screen of death issue. The AI offerings are ok, really like the detailed options on swimming and the swim lock which I use in the shower before and after a swim to be on the safer side. There’s a lot of features, a very nice screen and options for people to consider/use.The only real issue I have now is in the active exercises top line, if you add the wrong exercise, not sure how to clear it. On the older Parsonver watch, it was easy to remove an exercise you didn’t intend to use. For about $50 with GPS, this is absolutely worth a try. The data tracking is better than the earlier Parsonver too. The options and appearance are excellent for the money.Update: After this review published, a new firmware update addressed the occasional black screen of death issue. (Fixed by holding the crown button until shutdown and then once again to restart). Notes add to “optimize the GPS positioning” and “optimize the swimming algorithm.” Follow the firmware instructions to Kriki OS V1.0.12, and your watch will restart. On four different one mile swims in an indoor pool, the watch accurately tracked 72 laps each time. Happy trails.Update II: Experienced two additional Black Screen of Death issues. One with regular use and again, a reboot holding the button down worked. Another during a swim and required another fast reboot. So the firmware update is not full proof. The watch performs overall well, so maybe another firmware will be a final remedy.Updated III: Opted to return and replace with another. The replacement requested the same updated firmware on startup and there’s been no crashes with the “Screen of Death” since.Captain’s Log, Final Update: The replacement has seen not a single “Screen of Death” issue so it’s a keeper for around $55. The screen is sharp, the brightness variable which makes it feel like a real value. Did a recent bike ride and it handled the data well. Asked me on a break after 45 minutes if I wanted to complete the outdoor cycling session. Opted no and rode further. Well worth the try for the price.

Watch is fine, app is terrible
Worked great for 3 months, and the watch itself is fine, but the app is a battery killer and has to constantly be running in the background in order to get notifications on the watch. Not worth it.

Great Smart Watch At A Great Price!
Great smart watch at a great price. Uses Apple Health, a real plus! I got it for a swim watch, and it works great so far. I also like the way it measures my sleep patterns and gives me a sleep score.

Overheating after 1 week of wearing.
Edit: Company did reach out immediately and offer a refund or replacement. Accepted replacement and received it very quickly. Appreciate the prompt reply and service. Daughter received watch for Christmas. Has only worn for a week and 2-3 times a day the watch says it’s “overheating” and powers off. Since I bought it in October, the return date was 11/26/25 so I am not able to return it for a replacement. If I had known it had such a short return date, I would have bought something else. Expensive watch to work only a week.

Mostly good , but not fantastic
Set up, battery life, connectivity, all good and easy to do. But the accuracy is not as precise as I would have liked. Bought specifically for swimming and I mostly swim the same amount of laps each session, but not according to the watch. Can’t seem to figure out why?! One pet peeve is that you cant pause your time because it wants to clear the water from the watch first and then you can pause it . So timing is useless- never can be accurate. And in the Sleep app once you wake up it stops recording even if you fall back asleep later. Weird. I know this isn’t an expensive watch and you normally get what you pay for, but I just wished these apps worked more efficiently.

Better than expected !! Well worth it
This watch is incredible! As someone who has the latest Apple Watch and chooses to wear this one instead, that means something. I got this initially just to use for lap swimming and it’s been great for that purpose. I can easily eject the water and then use this for every day workout tracking as well. It includes steps and calories burned. It also sends every single notification to my iPhone just as an Apple Watch would. Although I can’t directly respond from this watch, I still am able to stay updated with every notification. I like the fact that this watch is slightly bigger than the Apple Watch as well with a larger screen and thin design. Overall 10 out of 10 I’m very pleased with this purchase.

Chinese app.
This thing should stand on its own, but no it wants you to download a Chinese app onto your phone to use this. Why? It doesn’t need the phone, and the watch itself has an embedded OS, so what gives? It’s a pain in the ass to setup and even find WHICH Chinese app it even wants! Skip this, it’s cheap for a reason, because it’s quality is cheap and it’s not designed to be a swim tracking app, I don’t know what it is but it’s not a swim watch.
