Lightweight, Non-Slip Hiking Shoes / Get a Minimum of One Size Up
They arrived faster than expected. I read other reviews and got one size up. Unfortunately, I will have to return them and get an additional half size up for a total of one and a half size up. As for the shoes themselves, they are incredibly comfortable and have great support for heels and ankles. They are made very well and appear durable. The style is exactly as pictured and I appreciate that for hiking shoes they are very lightweight and not bulky. They also have traction for grip at the bottom making it great for slippery areas as well as incline. Overall, I would highly recommend these for price.

Love these boots. Was looking for a lightweight hiking boot for rainy weather. Great price for the quality. Comfortable and waterproof. If you’re going to wear heavy socks order a half size up.

Run small not Hi-Tec’s best quality
Shoes run small. I’ve had them less than a week and the pull look on the back ripped out.The shoes so far appear to be waterproof. Better than the Merrill and Columbia waterproof shoes I purchased off Amazon. I think a lot of the shoes I buy off Amazon are “seconds” or am I really hard on shoes where I rip them in a week.

Hi-Tec boots are comfortable
I have feet with high arches and have trouble finding boots to fit. I wear a size 6.5 and the Hi-Tec boot fits well right out of the box (true to size). Sometimes boots that seem to fit well at first, but after walking in them your feet hurt or feel tired. These boots did not do that. They are not stiff but are a softer flexible boot but still have a firm support for hiking. I still have a pair of Hi-Tec low cut hiking boot which I had for years and I’m still wearing them. For $30 this boot was worth it. I’m sure they will last a few years too.

I have returned this product and have had a full refund, the reason I returned this product is I went to do up the laces and one of the loops came apart.

Stable footing, great support, cozy sole, very comfortable, didn’t have to wear them in. Fits like a glove with normal sock for my foot size. If you want to wear heavier socks for hiking you might want to go a size larger. Very nice looking and made very well!
