    Ideal mat because…
Upon using this mat for a year stand by my original review. Wish to include the durability of the mat is wonderful. It wears much better than my original mat. It’s also had time to expand and I find the thickness and comfort high quality. It’s been a joy to listen to music and move through poses with no instructor speaking. Having reminders in front of me.I find this method for myself very refreshing at times. My recommendation for anyone just beginning to take a series of classes is to have an instructor present to ensure you are doing all proses properly. Or you could injure yourself.I had yoga experience for over a decade before buying this mat. Even why YouTube or DVD instructors safety first for proper poses.Maybe hire a private instructor to run through poses a few times just to make certain you have a muscle memory grasp. For me knowing how is the idea when using this perfect mat support. Even if in class this mat is handy because you don’t have to look at the teacher for reminders. We’ve all been there. New pose and we’re posing to see the teacher, keep our balance, and do the instructed position. :)Oh, and my German Shepherd and his two cats approve of the mat. They especially like when I’m in a lotus or comfortable seat position 😁⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯Update /My previous mat has had a full life. It’s starting to what I call ‘tatter’ on the edges. Plus, being light blue it’s becoming obviously more difficult to clean. After a year of looking in stores and online found this gem of a mat. What I like about this mat is the pose reminders. Not being an instructor don’t remember poses in bulk, but do know how to do them when led. This mat including poses looks similar to classes I’ve taken in number and type of poses.Deciding to set up a full in home gym including yoga studio area means providing tools and this mat fits the space, bill, and is SUPER helpful if I forgo a led meditation. I’m able to pick poses to create my own session in similar fashion to an instructor.I’d read a few cons in other reviews like, this mat is thin or slippery. Keeping my old mat for underneath cures the thinness issue. As far as slick goes, I have always stood on the floor in class during certain poses for stability. Finding a mat of any type difficult for sturdiness in certain poses. I’m very long and deep in particular poses. Any mat can be a challenge. Intend to do similar on my studio wood floors.I’d read some people wash the mat prior to use. This can certainly remove new mat residue/feel. The materials used to imprint the mat removed make a difference. Potentially offer more matted appearance for better grippability to palms and feet. Or, flipping the mat over can help as well. The back of mine has a slightly matted finish.I’m still trying to figure out how some people don’t slip off other mats during proper poses. Don’t miss the opportunity to own this mat over this concern. Try the floor. You’ll have more balance anyway and an easier time posing those long warrior and other crazy pretzel poses 😁

    i love this mat
i used this mat and youtube videos to teach myself yoga, its smelled if rubber when i first got it nothing strong or really distasteful was very cheap considering how long of a mat it is and durable i had it for two years now and has a nice thick texture of it, i love the bright orange color to it and how easy it is to clean after working on it.

    Just right for beginners
The poses are user friendly for me as a beginner, the quality of the illustration is suffcinet enough to allow me to get a good idea of the right footing and postioning. The padding hits the balance mark ideally to provide some cushion but thin enough to hold allow for firm footing to support my efforts in holding the poses. (Note: My gym has a hard firm rubber floor, also a plus.) The only negative, I wish it was a few inches wider to allow for better hand placement for plank like positions. (Note: I use a plank pad with the mat for more hand/wrist support so I get by ok.)

    Perfect mat for a newbie.
I’m a beginner yogi and still learning the ropes so this is perfect for me.So convenient to be able to just look down and have a picture of whatever pose I’m attempting for reference.Mat is nice and thick so it’s comfortable and is also quite large. Cleanup is simple and though I wish it came with its own carrier, I got some straps and with those it rolls up nice and tight for easy transport.Very pleased with this purchase.

I love this mat as it has illustrations of asanas on it so reminds me if I have forgotten a particular pose. It is nice and spongy too and rolls up into a neat roll.

I absolutely love my yoga mat. The poses infront of your face is so useful. I find some of the yoga vedios on YouTube goes fast as the teachers are advanced. This mat kind of helps you do it on your own pace and by yourself! I absolutely love it.My only worry is about the white print fading away in the future as I keep using it. Time will tell.💯 % satisfied!
