High quality device with easy activation at a reasonable price
This is my first time with one of these GPS devices. I was expecting it to be rather complex to setup and get working.But it turned out that setup and activation went very smooth online with no calls needed to support. Tested it withmy 92 year old mother and it worked great. Even with her bad hearing the audio quality was better than expected.The phone application also works great. Being able to see the GPS location and the battery level is great. The overallbuild quality of the device seems above average. Overall I would highly recommend this device if you have elderly parents to look after and you need peace of mind their OK. Thanks SecuLife!

I WOULDN’T RECCOMEND THIS ITEM
I got this for my wife who has dementia, it was an easy set-up, but it always showed my wife being in another house, when she was here…It never depicted her at home, they also make a BIG DEAL, about the service agreement being a CONTRACT, so if it didn’t work satisfactory you wouldn’t be able to cancel it…BAD BUSINESS!

Works well as a supplemental or primary call device for elderly. Be aware this device is only for contacting emergency contacts such as family members and not for contacting 911 or other emergency services.It’s easy to set up with 2 plan options with reasonable prices. I like the GPS tracking which has either 30 seconds updates or 5 minute updates depending on which you choose.The device includes a magnetic charger and the battery lasts for days before needing a charge, on standby. Easy to use with an SOS button on the front and two small side buttons. Lanyard has a toggle to adjust.Overall, good quality and well made.

Beware of delays with refunds from Seculife
I am awaiting a response about my refund. If they refund me as they should I will update this response & rating. Battery life was 1-2 days max. Since I purchased device through Amazon and the service for the year $240 through Secu-life I just wanted them to refund my $240. I cancelled service after 10 days (supposed to have 15 day free trial). They said they’d would have to wait till they got my Amazon return. They make you jump through a lot of hoops trying to get refund and it seems like they want you to miss the 15 day mark with their requests (they said for me to send a pic of my Amazon return receipt. When I did they said okay now we have to wait till we get return). Amazon credited my account immediately but SECULIFE has still not refunded my $240. I liked the device but it did not work 100% and that’s what I need for my mom. Maybe it is because cell service at her house is not the best.

Piece of mind
I bought this tracker for my Mom who has Alzheimers and loves to walk the neighborhood. Occasionally when she is having a bad day, she will leave the neighborhood to look for her house, those who are dealing with alzheimers parents get it. This tracker gives me piece of mind that I can see where she is at when I am at work. It is not without its issues, battery life is lacking, but I do have it set to refresh every minute, so I am experimenting with having the refresh times different when she is home, and changing it when she is walking. Even on the 1 minute refresh, it is more like 3 or 4 minutes till it refreshes her location, even if I close out the app and restart it, but I can still deal with that. I am able to geofence the neighborhood and get notices when she goes of the geofence. I am able to have the app on multiple phones, that way my sons and I can keep track of her as well. But my favorite feature is that I can call the tracker and I have it set to automatically answer so she doesnt have to look for a button to press. The call is clear, and I can even hear her feet walking. It is really a handy feature to have. I use it often just to check in and make sure she is ok, and I know she feels more secure as well. She can also call my phone by clicking the button, hopefully if she gets lost and finds someone to help they will realize to click the button to call me. While its not perfect, it has been a game changer for me, especially when I am at work. There is a monthly fee, and different levels depending on what your needs are. I highly recommend this tracker if you have a loved one you need to constantly keep an eye on!
