Exactly what I was hoping for
I am 49, and after a series of illnesses and injuries, have found myself with the strength of a kitten and the stamina of a potted plant. I also have pain in my knees, hips, and shoulders. Exercise DVDs have always been my favorite way to workout, and I own hundreds. I couldn’t find a single one in my collection that I am able to do, so I bought this series as a last resort. It turns out I love it! Curtis is so cheerful and motivating, but not annoying in any way (exercise dvd fans will know what I mean!). The music is great. The workouts are 20-30 min, and filmed outdoors in beautiful locations. For me, the workouts are challenging, but doable, which is exactly what I need to keep motivated. I am using the band that comes with it, and 2lb hand weights. The workouts are separated into strength and cardio, but they all have sections with strength, cardio, balance, and stretching, with the exceptions of the Off Day and Walking Express workouts, which don’t have any strength training sections. The exercises are unique and creative, working upper body and lower at the same time in a sort of “pat your head and rub your stomach” kind of way, so that I feel like it is exercising my brain as well as my body, and really keeps me engaged. I also love that this comes with such a variety of workouts with the calendar- it is so helpful to have a plan to follow.My only complaint is that the yoga workout is a card with pictures instead of a dvd. Instead of following the card, I am substituting Happy Yoga with Sarah Starr. These are 30 minute chair yoga workouts, also filmed outside. I would recommend these if you prefer a dvd to follow.It feels so good to be exercising again, and I feel like I am getting my life back!Thank you Curtis Adams, I am so glad I found this set!

I love these workouts. As a senior, my bones and joints no longer take the hard core workouts. These are fun and get me up and moving. Very engaging.

Total workout, easy to follow and low impact for seniors
This product is very complete with its workouts. It is easy to follow and definitely good for beginners and seniors. The instructor is very upbeat and clear with his instructions as you follow him through the routines. It is excellent for cardio, strength building and balance improvement. The only criticism for me would be that there was no real instruction with the yoga guide. I have never done yoga, so not sure how long to hold the poses nor if I am to do the complete routine each Wednesday or trade off. It would be nice to know this. All considered, Very glad I purchased this.

Easy to follow, but challenging.
At 75 years of age, I can no longer do the hard core workouts without pain in my knees and feet. This video is great because It is easy on the joints. It still increases my heart rate and I burn calories, but the exercises are easy to follow, challenging, and fun. I’m not too fond of the chair exercises, but they also raise my heart rate. I would highly recommend this video and can’t wait for further ones.

Good product AND customer service
I bought this set because I wanted exercises I could do consistently after a knee surgery gone wrong. The calendar with the workout schedule appealed to me and I read that the exercises could be modified as needed. I had trouble with one dvd freezing mid-play and emailed Vitality Life to inquire about a replacement of the one DVD. I had a cheerful and supportive reply from a real live human within an hour wanting to make it right and getting my address to send a new one. I received the replacement very quickly too. I love the workouts! They are challenging but easy to pick up and it’s something I can incorporate easily into my daily routine. My husband retires in 2 weeks and I am going to get him exercising with Curtis too. I agonized over a good workout product and I am happy to say I picked a winner with this set.

Great Exercises!
These exercises are great! I like that there are different exercises for each day, with a day of rest included. They are varied so you don’t get bored. Curtis Adams makes the exercises fun and he is very engaging. I would highly recommend.

Low Impact Cardio
Love this product and Curtis Adams, he is a true man of character. He has made this video affordable, easy to follow and motivating. The video is very welcoming and encouraging. Due to health issues my aerobic exercises were put on hold, I had to start over. This video is a great way for me to build strength, there is variety and choices (you can stand or sit). The best thing for me is that it is on dvd, I prefer to watch on my tv. I cannot recommend this dvd enough, great workouts for a very fair price. Thank you Curtis
