I love using this and it makes planning seamless
1. Tracks Progress Like a Beast:Your body changes slowly, but numbers don’t lie. A logbook keeps a record of your sets, reps, weight, and rest times so you can see your strength evolve over time.2. Holds You Accountable:Writing it down makes it real. When your goals are staring back at you in black and white, it’s harder to slack off or skip a workout.3. Builds Consistency and Discipline:Progress doesn’t come from doing something once—it comes from doing it again and again. A logbook reinforces your habits and routines like a steel spine for your mindset.4. Uncovers Plateaus and Breakthroughs:You’ll know exactly when you’ve been stuck on the same weight too long—or when you finally crush a personal best. That awareness fuels smart adjustments.5. Creates a Personalized Roadmap:It becomes your blueprint. Over time, you’ll know exactly what works for your body. It’s not guessing—it’s data-driven domination.6. Boosts Motivation:There’s nothing like flipping back a few pages and realizing how far you’ve come. It’s a quiet reminder: You’re stronger, faster, better than you were.7. Sharpens Focus During Training:Walking into the gym with a plan written down in your logbook means no wasted time, no second-guessing, no distractions—just iron and intent.

Good logbook
I keep buying these, so they must be decent. It’s a quality book, holds up well, pages are thick. The bookmark ribbon is a nice feature.I must have filled up 6 of these so far, and have had no issues yet.

Nifty
It’s a great little log book. The pages have more than enough room for any workout I’m willing to take on on a given day.The only thing I find lacking is there’s no place to put a writing implement. A pen with a pocket clip can be attached to the spiral but I’m more of a pencil guy, and I don’t like having to keep one in my pocket when I’m working out. An elastic loop or some kind of clip would be appreciated.

Tracking progress has been a breeze
I used to try to track my progress in the gym on my phone but always found myself getting distracted by social media or music choices once my phone was out between sets. I decided to buy this and I’ve not had any of those issues since. It comes with preprinted pages which makes it really simple to track your workouts.-types of exercise-8 slots to fill with your exercise regimen for the day-Followed by six slots for your weights and your reps with those weights-2 cardio slots with time distance and calories for you to track-a note section at the bottom for any miscellaneous things you want to trackI burned through 1 book in a year and am working on my second one currently. I love the size of it also, it’s small enough to fit in a cargo pocket but not small enough to get lost in my duffle. Great buy , solid front and back cover, papers don’t rip, I would buy it a third time. Actually I probably will as I’m half way through this one currently 😅

Encourages Goals!!
I love this journal. It is my first exercise journal so I don’t have much to compare it to other than reading about other ones but here is my take.It works well for a beginner and for somebody who is more advanced. It has room for my sticker envelope in the back. The pages are pretty thick and it feels solidly made. I’m able to toss it in a bag without it being harmed. It has a goal page which is essential for me personally. In Front of Journal:-A page for creating goals in the front which I use with stickers and helps me change it up challenges every few weeks.- a page to record types of exercises-A track your progress page in the front which I don’t use but can see how it would be helpful expecially if you are trying to track weight. In Middle:-I have a picture above of that main basic page for daily recordings. I love that the cardio is recorded separate. It has a place for tracking food but it is non-intrusive which I like since tracking food is not my goal. I personally find that distressing if that is a major part of the journal. On the other hand, the water droplets for how much you drink is really cool.In The Back:-It has a couple of blank pages for notes.- one page with a 6 month calendar on which I use stickers to mark when I have completed goals.- last page opposite the calendars is a place for body measurements and a small box for professional records. In a perfect world this is what I would change. I would love a place to put the total time and the total calorie count each day. And I would love one more cardio line and two more goal pages. I did not deduct a star for this because I was unable to find a journal that did have these these things and also had the other qualities I was looking for and if it doesn’t exist it didn’t seem fair.Hope this helps!!

I have been training for over a decade. I took my training seriously in 2011 and competed in my first figure show 2012. I worked with a coach for 9 years. Due to covid any photoshoots or specific fitness goals are at a halt. I can’t handle the gyms opening then closing. Working out from home has been a challenge, but now I’m slowely building my own gym. Ive never tracked my weights (kept it in my head). I was searching for a log book to help keep me on track and help track my strength. I also need to submit a fitness log for work. I absolutely love this book. The hard cover, sleek black look and all the pages inside are very detailed – from cardio, length of time, some nutrition and quality of workout. This has it all. And the size of it is also perfect. My only complaint is I wish it was thicker. I’m planning to do a 20 week prep I Don’t think this will fit it all (maybe? Maybe not?). Either way I’ll still buy another book when I finish this one.If they read these comments I would request 16 week prep books and 24 week prep books.

I liked this product when I saw it. Enough space to write what I need to and more. Plus it arrived early.

This record book is excellent for all types of exercise. It permits personalized approaches to record keeping instead of forcing any particular patterning of days, hours, location, and so on. Once this book is full (which will take awhile, even for an avid exercise buff), I’m sure another one will be purchased.

100% will buy again. Lots of writing room, plus goals / body weight charts. Only thing that is “negative”, is if you do more than 8 workouts a session there’s only space for 8 – plus 2 cardio. (Which isn’t a problem for me)
