LIFE SAVER
I know this is mostly directed towards postpartum care, but it honestly works on cuts, wounds and outer injuries. All Thena products are honestly clean, and effective. I wish this was made in bigger quantities! Definitely worth the buy.

Speedy recovery for postpartum moms!!!
Ok, this epsom salt really does help/work you guys! I am currently 5 going on 6 weeks postpartum. I had suffered from a really bad medline episiotomy and hemroids when I delivered my daughter. On my second week postpartum I had to get restitched because my stitches tore. That first week after getting restitched was a nightmare. I was still in pain and I didn’t feel like I was healing from my recovery at all. I tried witch hazel and antiseptic spray but honestly those didn’t really help me very much. So when I saw this on amazon and read amazing reviews on it I was sold! It’s a bit pricey but I was desperate for healing and recovery. As soon as this product arrived I started using it right away during my sitz baths and just two days of using it I was starting to feel a little better. I did my sitz bath every day once in the morning and at night before I go to bed. And within that first week I was feeling a lot better. I had ordered another one for my second week cause I was already out and it was the first time where I felt like myself again. Oh, and by the way… I noticed that keeping myself dry worked best for me without using the witch hazel pads. I just do my sitz bath for 15 minutes and pat myself dry. Anyway, I highly recommend this to all postpartum moms. Especially the ones who suffer from 3rd or 4th degree tears. Speedy recovery mamas and congratulations on your newborn!

Saved Me!
Forgive me if this is TMI but if it will help even one other person, I’m going to go for it. An excruciatingly painful thrombosed hemorrhoid burst, resulting in an anal fissure. Two months of misery, with two different doctors giving mostly useless advice about more fiber and water (which was already part of my diet) and, finally, a compounded Rx containing nifedipine. The prescription worked well enough to restore my will to live but the price was $65 (!!!) for a 2-week supply. Within a month, I knew I was going to have a recurring problem and there was no way I could afford a constant supply of that Rx.Long story short, I have to be careful with my diet and am still weeding out triggers that cause flare-ups. But during that initial two months of misery, I came across Thena Sitz Bath Soak and it was literally the only thing (before the Rx) that provided relief (after wasting a lot of money on fiber supplements, stool softeners, Prep H (every possible type), Tucks (witch hazel), Aloe baby wipes and straight organic Aloe Gel.Admittedly, I often found myself in the tub 2 – 4 times a day but, believe me, I would’ve lived in the darn tub just to relieve the agony! I cannot recommend Thena Sitz Bath Soak highly enough and use it at least once a week these days, both as a conditioning treatment and simply because it makes me feel wonderful.

Life Changing for Post Partum Recovery
I had a traumatic delivery resulting in a fourth degree tear with my second baby. I bought this a few days after trying everything the hospital provided. I used it in a warm sitz bath on the toilet (a few shakes from the container each time). I sat for about 10-20min two to three times a day until it started healing. Then got to once a day after about 8-10 weeks because this Rudd is incredible! Pat dry, don’t wipe it off. I sprayed Earth Mama perineal spray a well and both wonders. My OBGYN actually added this to her list of recommended products for new moms. I’ll gift this to all new mamas who had natural (non c section) births. I bet it’s amazing as a regular bath epsilon salt for relaxing too!

Post-partum miracle!!
I never write reviews, but this stuff was so amazing I can’t help myself! I had a VBAC just over a week ago – which resulted in a 2nd degree tear and two labial tears. I started out by using a sitz bath from a leading mother’s brand that smelled great but didn’t seem to be doing a thing to help with healing. On day 3 post-partum I was miserable and almost cried every time I had to pee because the tears were so painful and the stitches were so tight. After changing over to using this sitz bath brand things got DRAMATICALLY better from almost the first use (with one tear healing within about a day and the other more extreme one 2 days after that)! On top of it, it smelled great and left me feeling clean and moisturized to boot! Now at 7 days post-partum, after using this 1-2 times per day, I’m still sore down there, but I can use the bathroom without pain or any extreme measures (bye-bye Tuck’s pads, peri bottles, etc!). Everyone seem amazed by how fast I’ve healed, and I give this stuff a huge part of the credit. I know different things work for different people, but for me, this was my savior for sure!!

Lovely!
Would, without a doubt, buy again for myself or as a gift for a friend. Bought this first time for postpartum baths but would also use in the future as a treat to myself for nicer, relaxing baths! Lovely scent without being overpowering. Appreciate that it leaves some oils on my skin after exiting the bath – but take note if that’s not your thing. The cost is notable but it feels like a nice luxury without being exceedingly expensive!
