Great solution for a sore shoulder.
This is definitely a high quality massage tool. I had been in a lot of pain for a couple of weeks after sleeping incorrectly in my right shoulder one evening. I used this device in the morning and evening for five or six days and it eliminated all of my pain. If you can afford it, this is the massager you are looking for.

    Pretty good massager.
Liked the arm to reach back. Takes a while to get heat from massage ball, but works well.

    not bad
love the long handle as it helps me reach my mid back. I would have given more stars but when using on mid back I noticed that it was the side of the massaging ball what was doing the massaging and not the base of it. it still massaged but didn’t have the power or the heat designed to help ease the pain. also, you have to make sure the head is attached right or it will pop out while using. not bad for what it is and great concept. recommend if you truly do not have someone to help.

Everything about this was well thought out on the part of the designers.
First things first I can confirm that this is 8MM of stroke travel. I put a pencil on the end and turned the massager on. I know that the item details say 16mm in one location, and 8mm in another. But yes it is 8mm’s of stroke which I prefer over a longer stroke because for it feels more percussive and smoother. The attention to detail that the designers took is amazing. I wasn’t expecting this kind of quality. They even went to the extent of putting flush fitting foam plugs in the screw holes. Other lower quality massagers lack that kind of features. It would have been nice to have a dual port charger so that both batteries can be charged at the same time. Not a huge deal breaker as I have other low amperage chargers that I was able to use.The main part of the massager that goes in to the handle fit very tightly. Almost too tightly that I really had to crank on it to get it to engage the slot. The heating function works well and was hot enough for me. The reach of the handle is really good as well as “triangular” shaped part of the handle. It makes it a bit easier to maneuver it around by yourself. I’m going to be getting a lot of use out of this.

8 or 16mm ball head travel?
The product description describes this messager as having 16mm travel. But scroll down to model comparison chart and the “Wingspan” model has 8mm travel, not 16mm. Doesn’t fully explain whether this “New” Wingspan is the longer travel or not for me.I’m not sure which is correct but I’ve got both types of other older messenger makes, shorter gun type and long handle with multiple speed selections. I find the others don’t compare to this Wellbody New Wingspan message action.More recent models also describe this 16mm message head travel and I think it’s the real deal in muscle recovery and therapy. They do seem to come at a higher price point at the moment. There’s 3 different speeds available by pressing a single button; long press to turn off. Maybe it’s the vibration but I find it difficult to set the slowest speed. But sometimes it’s the fastest speed that’s harder to find. Sometimes, there’s 3 unique speed selections and sometimes there’s only 2 my pressing finds. Like maybe the vibration causes me to skip a selection. But sometimes there’s an obvious delay between speed selections and sometimes not. Mine isn’t consistent with the single button speed selector. But when I can find the slowest speed, the message action is felt from shoulder to opposing arm and down my spine to abs. My wife even noticed the ripple reaching my opposing forearm when she wrapped her hands around it. Fastest speed seems more likely to offer faster recovery but I’m still trying them all.It didn’t take very long to get a tension relieving message to most of my body, thanks to the long handle. It’s light in weight and the handle maneuvers with ease. The heated ball moves easily over clothing while delivering a nice heated touch.Recharging could be easier with USB-C, but oddly, this device uses micro USB which isn’t easy to align without looking, feeling and rechecking alignment. Seems the more I’m accustomed to the easy connection of USB-C, the harder micro USB gets to use. Manufacturers should really refrain from using micro USB and go with the easier connection that USB-C offers to the user.

    Best design ever
We already owned a typical massage gun. It’s really good. However, it’s tough to easily get my most recurring problem area… My neck. This thing is PERFECT for getting to your neck and back. I charged the main unit AND the heatball both (powered separately BTW). It’s simple to assemble and has pretty good instructions. It’s packaged incredibly well for safe keeping. There are three different tips included. I tried all three and gotta say, there’s not a big difference from one tip to another. But that’s because the unit is very powerful. It’s not too harsh, but it really puts forth the needed pressure to sore areas. It has three speed modes and the second mode was plenty strong enough for me.My expectations for the heatball fell a little short. While I could feel the heat on my hand, with the unit turned off… I couldn’t really notice the heat while powered on and massaging my neck. So that heat produces nothing like a heating pad. However the heatball tip provided a great massage, due to the size and shape of it.This is the best massage gun we’ve owned or used. It’s well built. And most importantly, the design to be able to easily reach the neck and back is brilliant!
