The BMJL Women’s Athletic Shorts have quickly become my absolute favorite shorts! My friend wore these on a vacation and I immediately asked her for the link. I LOVE how these shorts fit! I am short and short waisted, so normally shorts like this end up riding up through the day until they’re just under my chest! These do not rise up, they have underwear-shaped lining, they’re a great quick-dry material, and they’re not too short. I think these are very flattering for all shapes and sizes. And they have a zippered pocket! I have purchased these in so many colors it’s absurd at this point. They’re lightweight, well made, wash well, soft not scratchy. They’re even just slightly longer in the back than the front, so I feel good that I’m covered. LOVE these affordable sporty shorts.

Pretty stretchy waistband – gives an extra 3 or 4 inches than what is listed on the sizing guide, so if you’re in between, you’ll be fine. These shorts are layered – they have a spandex layer underneath & a loose fitting top layer, very comfortable. Only one pocket, but it’s prettybig, I can fit my iPhone 12 Pro. When walking, if your shorts tend to ride up, these will as well, but not too bad. I plan on buying a couple more pairs in different colors.

I just received these shorts yesterday, and I’m already coming back to order multiple colors. These are great!I love the sewn in “underwear” – they are a great fit. They don’t ride up or feel uncomfortable. The material is lightweight and breathable, but also good quality.The waistband is high and it was weird at first, but I love it. It holds in my belly. 🤣

Size up- don’t buy white
The shorts are super comfy. Reviews were sort of hit or miss with size, so I ordered a size L and XL when I normally wear a large. I’m 5’3 180pounds. The large was to tight and really stretched and outlined all my creases which wasn’t flattering at all. The XL really felt better but was slightly too big, but I still went with the XL. That are high waist elastic which is amazing and stays up. I ordered black and white in both sizes. The white however are see through. They both have mesh underwear underneath, and you could 100% see the outline of the underwear which then made it look like everyone could see your underwear. They were so see through that I could see my fingers if I put them under the fabric. You could see the entire fabric patch for the pockets, everything. It’s seriously see through. I tried on the XL to make sure I didn’t just get a badly made pair, and the XL were the same thing- totally see through. I’ll be returning the whites and looking for some else where, but I am keeping the black XL! My advice would be size up, and don’t buy white. 5 stars on the black sized up, 2 stars for white see through

As someone who’s always struggled to find athletic shorts that are both comfortable and flattering, these have been a total game-changer for my fitness routine. The high-waisted design is incredibly flattering and provides just the right amount of compression without feeling restrictive or rolling down during workouts.What I love most is how versatile these shorts are—I wear them for everything from intense HIIT classes to casual walks around the neighborhood. The 2.5″ inseam is the perfect length for me, not too short to feel self-conscious but short enough to allow full range of motion during squats, lunges, and running. The fabric is soft, breathable, and has excellent moisture-wicking properties that keep me comfortable even during sweaty workouts.The pocket is a fantastic feature that I use constantly for my phone, keys, or earbuds. It’s deep enough to keep things secure but positioned perfectly so nothing bounces around while I’m exercising. The stitching is high-quality and has held up beautifully through dozens of washes without any pilling, fading, or losing elasticity.For such well-made, comfortable athletic shorts, the price was absolutely the best I found compared to name-brand alternatives that cost twice as much. I’m definitely buying more in different colors and have already recommended them to my workout buddies. These shorts have made me actually look forward to getting dressed for the gym! Absolutely deserves 5 stars!

These shorts are very comfortable. I bought these in a medium and they fit, I then bought another pair in medium and they were much smaller. Just realized the first pair I was sent was actually a large. There is a white tag on the inside of the pants (about half way down) this tag will tell you what size you actually have.

I am usually a medium in clothes so being running shorts I bought a large. Not sure what size people these were made for but our Miss 13 couldn’t get them on and she is tiny. The product itself seemed fine but as I couldn’t get them past my knees I can’t give you any other info
