Great Mix of Size, Sturdiness, and Versatility at a Decent Price
I did a direct comparison between this and the slightly larger Sportneer board, as well as the Revbalance, which this one really seems be aimed at, in terms of competition. I prefer the shape of this one – the useable surface is nearly the same as the other Sportneer board. Length is the same, this is just a couple inches narrower, but with plenty of room to move around for my size 10 feet. For the trade off, you get a more manageable size to store and a little less weight. The larger board has a sandpaper type surface – great if you’re wearing shoes, and I don’t mind it with bare feet, but this one is a much nicer padded surface – more like you find on the tops of paddle boards. I’ll include a close up image to show the thickness. It won’t wear as well if you’re using it with shoes or outdoors, but for bare feet or socks, it’s great – plenty of traction with no abrasiveness. I’m pretty sure it’s the same type of surface the Revboards use.The combination of roller and ball, and the wide variety of ways to configure the safety rails give this a wide range of challenges – and you can make it easier or harder depending on what type of surface you’re on (maybe start with thick shag carpet if you don’t have great balance. Ha!) . I’ve only been using it a few days, so I can’t comment on how it’s going to hold up long term, but the roller, ball, and board all seem well made and look like they will last. I think my only complaint is that the half-circle safety rails have no indentions, so pulling them off takes some effort. At first I thought I was going to have to use a butter knife or thin object to slide under them, but once I used two hands and concentrated on getting a good grip, they came off. It’s kind of weird, since the straight ones have well made indentions that makes removing them super easy – I’ll show a photo of the two so my description is clear. This a pretty minor complaint, but more of a note for Sportneer to correct it in later versions. There were no reviews on this version when I bought it – I think it’s pretty new, but I took a chance and I’m glad I did. If you’re looking at these types of roller balance boards, I think this is a great choice, and the inclusion of the ball means that you’re in no danger of getting outgrowing it unless you have absolute top-tier level balance. All around, given the competition, this is a good way to go.

Fun to use.
The Sportneer Balance Board is a fantastic tool for anyone looking to improve their balance, core strength, and stability! The 7 adjustable modes provide a customizable experience, making it suitable for beginners to advanced users. Whether you’re working on basic stability or looking for more challenging wobble movements, the adjustable stoppers let you modify the intensity to match your fitness level. The build quality is impressive, with a durable and non-slip surface that ensures safety during use. The board itself is lightweight but sturdy enough to support various exercises, from balance training to improving posture and coordination. I also appreciate the compact design, which makes it easy to store and take on the go for workouts at home or on the road.Overall, this balance board is a great addition to any home gym or workout routine. It’s versatile, effective, and fun to use, whether you’re a fitness enthusiast or just starting your journey. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their balance training!

really helped my leg from shingles and is fun
really good and helpful. i had shingles in my left leg and it is still weak and unsteady. been walking quite a bit but that has only helped to a certain degree. besides walking, now i do this about 20-30 minutes a day while holding 5 pound weights in my hands. it has helped tremendously. my leg is much stronger and has better balance. it really is not that hard to get going and it is fun. i watch tv while doing this

Fun Balance Board
Got this balance for a good value and before I knew it I was having a blast on it. Felt like a kid again skateboarding, the design feels really customizeable with the detachable components. Easy to use and customize, well made and I meet it as a ‘between sets’ activity to have fun and enjoy it.

DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT – JUST GET IT!
OMG the Best Buy I have made this year – and it’s been many things already…It’s amazing! Sturdy, versatile and SO MUCH FUN.Our 13 yo LOVES IT. (WE fight over it! – negotiate rather. You get to go for one minute, then it’s my turn.)About a year ago I came a cross an article in the Scientist about the overall deterioration in balance, all ages, and all of its mega-effects on not only our overall fitness and athleticism, but overall physical health – as well as our brains. Our brains are highly stimulated when moving.Yoga and other using-your-own-body training use the need to defy gravity and all the balancing reactions, with a harmonious systemic response of well-toned muscles, tendons, fascia and ligaments – along with proprioception, which is superior for overall athleticism and health. This board will make you obssessed – and so will you kids.Every kid should have one of these.Every adult should have one of these. And every ‘elderly’ (also adult, but to make the point) should have one of these.Super fun, and extremely great training. We’re getting one for our 80 yo grandma, and my horse is thanking me for improving my core strength and balance reactions.

Good for the whole family
I got this for myself to help with surgery recovery, after my Apple Watch told me I was a high risk for falls. My goal was to build balance again. But as it turned out my entire family loves it. We just keep it on the floor in front of the TV and we all use daily. My balance has improved after using it daily I am no longer high fall risk. It’s easy to use and super fun.

Fun for whole family
This was a Christmas gift for my husband, but 6 months later it’s still a permanent den fixture. The whole family (adults and teens) stands/balances on it regularly. We all love it! Most of us fell at some point around Christmas, but we all quickly got much better. We never really used the guides, bc they made it harder/jerkier. After some minor injuries to bodies, furniture, and even one dog who was too close, we’ve all given up on trying the included ball. Not worth it for us lol. We’ll stick to the roller bar.

One of my best purchases from Amazon. High quality product with clear instructions and easy removing-installation brackets

Got to help with balance for ice skiing / hockey. Really good fun; with the balance on the roller, the learning curve is pretty steep / fast, so not sure it’ll help balance that much, but with the ball, especially on one foot it’s a serious challenge. Well made and great bit of gear. Leave it in the living room and the kids have a play with it all the time.
