Tough and well made sandbag
This is the best sandbag on the market. I’ll be buying the large one very soon as well. It’s super tough, and comes with a small and large inner bag for the 25-75lb sandbag so I can switch out some weight if I need to easily. Tons of handles all over the bag so I can do whatever I want with it.Sandbag carries, cleans, shoulder to shoulder, zercher squats, etc. The sandbag handles are easy to grab and soft. No plastic handles that dig into your shoulder.Best thing about sandbags: works your stabilizer muscles when the weight shifts which makes it more ‘real world’ vs standard dumbbell and barbell work. I’ve abused the thing, and it’s still super solid. Of course, price… I was looking at this and a competitor of theirs. This one was like ½ the price and looked super strong from the photos and the reviews here. Really happy I didn’t pay twice the price or go with a piece of junk that leaks sand all over the place/needs to be refilled often. Can’t wait to take this thing to the park and for runs with me.Quality construction, and really happy to add to my Rep Fitness gear. I have a kettlebell, battle rope, med ball, and now this guy! I highly recommend them if you’re looking for some awesome equipment!

All you need for general or advanced fitness
First, let me give you a background on me: past bodybuilder, past NASM certified personal trainer, dabbled in CrossFit (non-competitive) and ran elite in Spartan Race and held my own if I don’t say do myself. After developing shoulder and back injuries and needing surgery soon for two painful hernias, at 34 years old I have decided to retire from competition and work on my new main goal of life long mobility. I bought the 25 pound bag because of my cronic injuries, looking to go lighter with more repetitions and work the whole body in a shorter amount of time (20 to 30 minutes a day). I love the bag and it is my new go to piece of equipment. My weights will be getting very dusty soon. Between body weight exercises and this bag, there is nothing else I need to accomplish my goals of maintaining my desired levels of athleticism, body weight and of course life long mobility with NO MORE pain. The bag is very well made. Treat your investments with respect and they will last you a long time. If you are looking to just slam this into the ground as hard as you can then just go buy a sand bag from the home store and wrap four or five rolls of duct tape around it. If you want a nice piece of equipment with multiple handles and works the whole body then make sure this is added to your gym. Don’t underestimate the weight and feeling of lifting with sand. It feels a lot different than iron dumbbells or weights. It shifts and moves and changes shape. 25 pounds is more than plenty for me and my goals now. I am 6ft and 165 pounds.

Can’t beat the quality and price.
Definitely happy with the purchase overall. Also glad I got the large bag. I don’t know how the filler bags fit into the medium bag but can tell you that if you want to lift more that 70 pounds, go with the large bag. When I filled each filler bag to the recommended 3/4 full, the 3 filler bags weighed 40 lbs with possibly 1-2lbs extra if wanted so it could reach the 125lbs limit. It’s a little work to get two of them into the large bag so again, if you’re looking for ease of use with slightly lighter than 80 lbs, go for this size.I have no problem with using only one filler in the bag while doing exercises. I do need to shift the bag back into the middle if I’m tilting the bag for one exercise and then going into another as a superset.I have only used the bag on grass and on the beach so I have not tested the durability on concrete. No problems dragging it across my yard through sticks and debris. Material is solid. I also like the flat, reinforced clothed handles. I know some reviewers stated it does wear into your hands. I alleviated this with my lifting gloves when I’m doing long carries.Other features I like are the double Velcro enclosures for the filler bags, however, contrary to what other reviews have stated, the bags are not 100% spill proof. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. All the hype from the reviews and description, only to see that it was still vulnerable to the problems of other bags. Not to deter you however, compared to many other bags I have tried, the double Velcro enclosure does provide a lot more resistance to leakage. I am planning on adding one more set of fold with Velcro to see if that works better.The other feature that’s great is that the zipper stores under a flap and the zipper pull hides in a little compartment at the end of the bag.Lastly, you can’t beat the price. When I was looking for another 80lb bag, the good ones that I know and based on reviews were priced at $160. Can’t beat this price for what you’re getting. Now if the bag only lasts for two months, you’ll be seeing another updated review from me.

I liked the form factor, and the liner bags looked great. Unfortunately, the stitching near the fabric designed to protect the zipper area was ripped out when it arrived.Refund was quick and easy, but it is too bad that this traveled from one side of the planet to the other, only to show up like this. Sandbags usually endure a lot of abuse, so if it arrived like this, I don’t imagine it will last very long under normal use.

I purchased this fitness sand bag, loaded it with exactly 60lbs of sand. I picked it up to move it and the webbing handles instantly ripped. I have not even used this bag once! Garbage product – DO NOT Purchase!This product is not even worth a 1 star rating.
