    Teeter adjustable dumbbells
I received dumbbells couple of days ago. And used them for at least 7 hours with different weights. Change weight is very easy and quickly. Just twist of the handle. Dumbbells feel very comfortable and dependable. Even despite that it made from plastic, steelfeel safe. Some little shaking near handle. Shipping came in well protected box and fully assembled.

Excellent Adjustable Weight Dumbbells for Mostly All
Teeter makes excellent quality products. I have previously had their inversion bar and boots – which you really have to trust a product to hang from it upside by your ankles!Back to the adjustable weight dumbbells. The packaging was impressive with each dumbbell secured by dense foam with no wiggle room. The dumbbells themselves are made from a rubberized/coated hard plastic with steel plates for weights. Selecting the different weights in 4 lb increments is easy by twisting the handle of the weight. Plates engages and disengage with ease and there is very little wiggle/play in the plates at any selected weight. These get 4* instead of 5 for two reasons – serious lifters or those who have a home gym and also visit a gym may be put off by the 4lb increments that miss standard dumbbell weights of 5 lbs (5,10,15,20,25 etc). The second is that they are limited to only 32lbs per dumbbell and that limits the exercises that can be performed with them.If these are not concerns to you – the ProFlex are definitely worth it. They are the most affordable set of adjustable dumbbells but you would not know by the quality. The original BF model adjustable weight dumbbells do allow for 2.5lb increments from 7.5lbs to 52.5lbs but also come at more than 2x the cost.I highly recommend these dumbbells for anyone starting their home gym.

Space-saving, versatile, and with many size options
Unrelated to this purchase, I injured my elbow (tennis elbow) by carrying a heavy backpack (yanking it out of the back seat of my car and swinging it onto my shoulder). So, at first, I couldn’t review these barbells because my doctor told me to hold off on any weights.I’m still dealing with the injury, so I haven’t been able to put these through their full paces, but I wanted to write this review for one particular reason: I didn’t realize I was going to need a lighter weight and then suddenly the ability to use a much lighter weight was really important to me. And for that flexibility, I’m giving these dumbells a 5 out of 5.It’s no small thing. I don’t have the space for a million different size weights. But these take up a minimal amount of space for a piece of exercise equipment so versatile.I’m going to reassure you about the one thing that worried me when I bought these: are they sturdy? Yes, absolutely. I wasn’t concerned that the mechanism would be easy to adjust, but that aspect still pleasantly surprised me. You just hold the weight in its crradle and turn the handle. There aren’t even any additional switches or levers. So simple. And yet, once its adjusted, the weight feels solid. I’ve swung one with my good arm at different settings and I haven’t felt anything but confident in the solid, sturdy construction.I didn’t really realize how much lighter weights were going to be important to me when I ordered these, and they’re going to be useful in my slow recovery. If you’ve got the same concerns, I think you’ll be really happy with their adjustability, and how they feel in your hands. It’s certainly cheaper than buying a bunch of different sized weights!

Nice Set Of Weights For Our Home Office
My husband works from home quite a bit and he likes to have some of his hand weights in the office for stress relief, exercise while being less active during the work day and activity to keep him from snacking. As you can imagine, I’m glad that he’s interested in doing something healthier than just sitting in a chair in front of a computer all day, however, having multiple weights sitting around in the floor makes me less than happy. When I saw these, I thought they could be a solution that he and I could both be happy with. How right I was. These come as a pair of wights that each weight 32lbs for a total of 64lbs and includes a base. The base has rubberized feet to help protect our floor and keeps the base from sliding around. The base is required, you cannot twist the handle to change the weight unless it is on the base. That’s a nice safety feature so that while you are working out and possibly turning the center, weights won’t just start falling off. The base has magnets that, when docked, allows the handle to twist and change weight and it’s ready to go at whatever it is set at. It has a reasonable resistance and feels solid, so it doesn’t have a cheap, fragile feel. The LB weight selection is on one end but on the other end, in case you prefer metric, there is a kg selection. It’s very easy to align the dumbbell when setting back in the base and also to add or remove weights so it really couldn’t be easier. My husband really likes having a dedicated dumbbell set in the office now and I’m thrilled to have just the one set replacing the multiple others that used to be laying around. This has made a much tidier, easier to clean workspace and I’m not rising breaking my toe or neck walking in the office anymore. Momma and poppa are both happy. How often does that happen???
